What is the PPGI Coil made up of?
PPGI is basically a galvanized sheet, which is pre-painted. It is commonly known as the pre-coated coil sheet, color coated steel, coil coated steel and many others.
It is said that the PPGI is an extension of the Galvanized Iron. PPGI is primarily zinc coated steel which is previously painted. The full form of PPGI is Pre-Painted Galvalume Coils. Apart from zinc, it contains 55% of aluminum.
After this, it needs to be coated with the Organic substances. Thereafter a coating of paint is imparted on it.
